Bio
A band formed by Wyatt Levin (of Restricted) and Max Ridley (of Section 8) in late 2006 as a classic rock/metal band, the Lampshades have changed their sound and line-up quite a bit. The first addition to the band was drummer Jeff (of Section 8). It was with him that the band agreed to play ska and to add a horn section. Jeff left shortly due to reasons known only to him. However, Wilson of Restricted, soon joined the band on drums. He was released from the band in late May for reasons that are being kept private. Just recently, Jeremy Marshall joined on the drums after meeting Wyatt at DayJams (Rock and Roll Camp). The band is currently auditioning for one or two trumpet players and one trombone player.
Latest Blog Entries
After nine months of intense jamming and writing, the band has decided to break up. However, we are becoming a four piece band with the addition of a new singer and once the band is named, it will be on Fuzz.
We are very happy to welcome Jeremy Marshall to the band line up. Jeremy will be hitting different sounding round cylinders and round, thin pieces of metal while the rest of the band plas music.
